Internships

Our programs are dynamic, growing, and youth centered.
We ask that interns contain a desire to learn, work hard and have a positive attitude.
Growing Gardens’ expectations of intern:

  • Personal Growing Gardens Internsresponsibility
  • Timeliness
  • 24 hour cancellation notice
  • Follow through on accepted tasks
  • Clear, open, honest and kind communication
  • Willingness to do repetitive/contemplative tasks
  • Willingness to do physical work a garden
    projects asks
  • Semester or season long commitment
  • Mature, healthy role modeling in the relationship development with Cultiva! participants
  • Joyful participation in garden activities

We currently hiring for four internship opportunities in 2012:

Greenhouse and Market Garden Grower -- we will have two internship sessions: March – May or March - November

Environmental Education Instructor -- we will have two internship sessions: March – November or May – August:
