Hawthorn Community Gardens are located at 16th and Hawthorn. If driving, the directions from Broadway are: Turn east on Iris. Take Iris to 16th and turn south (right). At Hawthorn turn east (left) and the Community Gardens will be in the open space on your right. Park on Hawthorn and walk on the path past the Greenhouse into the Community Gardens. The Hawthorn Community Garden is bordered on two sides by the North Boulder Recreation Center Bike/Walk path. The Hawthorn Community Garden is 1/8 of a mile due east from the North Boulder Recreation Center on the path.

  We have eight 4 x 8' handicap accessible raised beds at the Hawthorn Community Garden. These newly constructed 20" high raised beds are intended for anyone with physical limitations. They are adjacent to parking and are bordered with gravel fines for easy access. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more: (303) 443-9952

* REDUCED RATES:
Once you have received your garden plot assignment you may apply for a reduced rate. Please see the Reduced Rate Application to determine if you qualify.

RENEWING GARDENERS:
Will be sent renewal information on January 15, 2013. Existing gardeners have first priority to renew their plots before February 12, 2013. After that date open plots will be offered to individuals off the wait-list.

NEW GARDENER WAIT LIST
If you are a NEW gardener and would like a plot in 2013, you are required to add your name to the 2013 wait-list beginning January 22, 2013. Please Study the Map to Community Garden Locations to determine which garden would be most convenient for you. In late February we will contact individuals on the wait-list on a first come first served basis starting with those who signed up beginning January 22, 2013. We will call once and leave a voice mail message if we do not reach you in person. If you do not respond to the voice mail message within 24 hours, we will move on to the next person on the list. We will not contact anyone via email, if your phone number changes after you sign up for the wait-list, it is your responsibility to alert us of that change. By signing up on the wait-list you agree to these terms.
